A German flintlock wender pistol,Schirmer,Bamberg,circa 1740. Two-stage barrels,octagonal then round after a girdle,with smooth bore in mm calibre. Over the breeches engraved "Schirmer - Bamberg" as well as "1" and "2",respectively. Florally cut lock(the second sear does not catch). Engraved brass furniture,the front part of the trigger guard as release lever to unlock the barrel pair. Original wooden ramrod with horn tip. Length cm.
