It is probaljly a conidial form of Venturia. ditricha var. 2^P'i- F. cerasi (Kabh.) attacks the cherry orchards with such virulence that the crop may be rendered quite unsaleable. F. eriobotryae Cav.^ Cavara states that this attacks the ^ Cavara, RiviMa di Pafoloyia Vegetale, 1892.
