The symbol on the flag was one thing used in the Russia media to discredit Ukraine as, "Nazis." The battalion denies they are Nazis, or that their flag represents Nazi ideology. The battalion has been very active near Mariupol in recent weeks where the pro-Russians opened a third front, and throated to take territory from the Russian border, along the Sea of Azov, and all the way to Odessa.
