At 3am on the 31st January the family with two young children were shook by the explosion as thieves tried to jemmy out the cash machine before speeding off. The force of the explosion blew the back of the cash machine 20 meters into the rear of the store. The family and owners of the Spar store looked shook up but were not injured. An explosive charge was used to blow out a cash machine whilst family slept above the store. At 3am on the 31st January the family with two young children were shook by the explosion as thieves tried to jemmy out the cash machine before speeding off. The force of the explosion blew the back of the cash machine 20 meters into the rear of the store. The family and owners of the Spar store looked shook up but were not injured. This is the second cash machine robbery in the village, North Somercotes in Lincolnshire. Under three months ago, not far from the Spar store, the Co-op store had its cash machine stolen.
