E. standard rail was used throughout. The heavy cuts and fills required the use of steamshovel, Hedgewood rapid unloader, two standardgauge steam locomotives, and twenty 30-ft. flat cars. We design and construct both electric and steamrailways, and our service includes every detail ofthe work—from first surveys to completing andequipping the road for operation. Our contracts are on a basis of cost plus a fixedsum, or cost plus a percentage.
