Dresden Point.—A fine drawn lace, embroidered with the needleand made in Dresden (hiring the latter part of the seventeenth and thewhole of the eighteenth century. It was an imitation of an Italian pointlace, in which a piece of linen was converted into lace by some of itsthreads being drawn away, some retained to form a pattern, and othersworked together to form square meshes.
