A cased pair of deluxe percussion pistols, Devisme à Paris, dated 1854. Octagonal original blued barrels with twelve-groove rifled bores in 12 mm calibre, silver inlaid rocaille and vine decoration on the muzzles and breeches, and signed, "Devisme à Paris" on top of the barrels. Dated "1854" under the barrels. Snails and tangs display finely engraved vine decoration, and the tangs are numbered "1" and "2".
