Fig. 21 represents a horizontal anthemion border, the elements being joined by wavelines. Draw it freehand and in a vertical position at the right end of the plate. Afterdrawing the long straight lines, draw the long wave lines as guide lines. Fig. 22 represents the left half of the well-known Ionic Capital, or voluted echinuscapital, from the Temple of Minerva Polias, at Pirene.
