S To the City Council: In accordance with a City Ordinance, I herewith submita report of the mortality in the City of Lowell for the year1867. The total number of deaths during the year was sixhundred and forty:—two hundred and ninety-seven of thesewere males and three hundred and forty-three females. The disproportion is not so large as in the precedingyear, and it is smaller than the average.
