They lietwenty hours from the city of Too-az, which gives its name tothe district of Tokat, and where their joint pasha resides. Thesecelebrated mines produce copper, lead, and silver, and have fiftyfurnaces constantly at work; indeed, they principally furnish thelatter metal for the mint of Constantinople.
