HEMLOCK OR WEEPING (Canadensis)—An ele- gant pyramidal tree with drooping branches and delicate, dark foliage, like that of the Yew: distinct from all other trees. It is a beautiful lawn tree and makes a highly ornamental hedge. COLORADO BLUE SPRUCE—A rare elegant tree, with foliage of a rich blue. One of the most distinct and striking of all the spruce family. A free grower and perfectly hardy. Evergreen Shrubs. Ash berry (Mahonia;) HOLLY LEAVED (Aquifolia)—A beautiful shrub, with smooth shining leaves, covered ^vith bright yellow flowers in May, and a profusion of blue berries in Autumn. Aucuba Japonica. GOLD DUST TREE—A small, beautiful shrub, with curious gold blotched leaves; needs protection in Winter. MACULA MASCULATA—Leaves long and narrow, irregularly toothed; color deep green. FCEMINA PICTA—A fine variety, vsdth broad yellow markings. LANCEOLATA—A desirable variety with deep green, lance-shaped leaves. Box (Buxus.) DWARF iSulfruticosa)—T'sed principally for borders and edging, for which pur- pose it is the best plant in cultivation.
