ESA JUICE solar array deployment test

Solar array deployment test of European Space Agency's (ESA) JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer) spacecraft. The spacecraft has two wings made of five x m panels in a total area of 85 square metres. The wings are designed to power the spacecraft and to operate scientific instruments. These instruments will help JUICE to investigate Jupiter's turbulent atmosphere and vast magnetosphere, as well as study the planet-sized moons Ganymede, Europa and Callisto. JUICE is scheduled for launch in April 2023.
