GROTON, Conn. (February 17, 2021) – Capt. Andrew Miller, commodore for Submarine Squadron (SUBRON) FOUR, right, presents the Medical 'M' award to the crew of the Virginia-class submarine USS Colorado (SSN 788), represented by the boat’s independent duty corpsman, Chief Hospital Corpsman Christopher Nuñez, onboard Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn., Feb. 17. The Medical 'M' award – based on a yearlong evaluation - recognizes units that attained the highest overall evaluation in combat readiness and medical excellence for each squadron of the Submarine Force.
