A dumped shoe collects bird droppings in the Olympic Stadium, Athens.
Athens is a classic city for both old town and modern developments. However, it does suffer from a graffitti issue with signs of urban decay easily found. This shoe was sitting under a beam in the Olympic stadium, obviously well used by birds leaving a deposit on it from above. Despite being next to an open walkway it had evidently not been moved for a long time.
