Apollo 14 Lunar Lander


Apollo 14 arrived on the Moon on 5 February 1971. Astronauts Alan Shepard and Edgar Mitchell were on the Moon for 33 hours 31 minutes, performing two excursions on the surface totaling 9 hours 23 minutes. Astronaut Stuart Roosa remained in the orbiting Command Module. The mission ended with a successful re-entry to Earth on 9 February 1971.
