Sarah Malcolm after a work by William Hogarth. Sarah Malcolm ? - 1733 was a Anglo-Irish woman executed for multiple murders. Her case was the subject of such notoriety that Hogarth visited her in prison to make sketches of her from which he made a painting and this engraving.
