A London cable announces that the Dominion Sawmills issue has been under- written to the extent of about 40 per cent., at about 3 per cent, discount. J. D. McArthur's fifty-thousand-dollar sawmill at Atikokan, Ont., on the Canadian Northern, was burned to the ground on June 18. The planing mill and piles of lumber were saved.
