Detroit, Michigan - Buckets of native plant seeds in a meadow in River Rouge Park that had been purposely burned a week earlier. The meadow was burned to eliminate invasive species and to facilitate restoration of a native prairie habitat. Elementary school children later sowed the native seeds.
