CMSGT Ellis Barton greets Irene Gobble as she arrives at Los Angeles International Airport following her trip to Misawa Air Base, Japan. Gobble was one of 230 dependents of military personnel who visited loved ones stationed in Japan and later made their return trip to the United States aboard former President Ronald Reagan's chartered Boeing 747 aircraft.
