Liverpool, UK. 14th February 2013. Firefighters were this afternoon tackling a blaze at the Beatles-theme Hard Days Night hotel in Liverpool city centre. The hotel was evacuated when a fire broke out on the fifth floor at around 1pm. North John Street which is immediately outside the hotel was sealed off whilst firefighters tackled the blaze which was brought under control at around 2:30pm. Fire crews were still at the scene at 5pm this evening.
