Proboscis fully developed; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching to about vertex of head, moderately scaled and slightly fringed with hair behind at extremity, the 3rd moderate, porrect; frons smooth, with tuft of hair above; eyes large, round; antennte of male bipectinate with long branches to two- thiids length, the apical part ciliated ; thorax clothed witii jiair and scales mixed and without crests; tibire slightly fringed with hair; abdomen with slight basal crest only. Fore wing with the apex somevihat produced and acute, tlie termen evenly curved and not crenulate; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell ; 6 from upper angle; 9 and 10 anastomosing with 8 to form the rather long areole ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 shortly stalked ; b fully developed from just above angle of cell; 6, 7 from upper angle ; 8 anasto- mosing with the cell near base only. A. Fore wing with the postmedial area suffused with fuscous ; hind wing wliolly suffused with brown B. Fore wing with the postmedial area not suffused with fuscous ; hind wing yellowish white. (I.
