Monument to the soldier undermined the German tank a 'Tiger' a grenade in 1943. Belarus, Vitebsk region.
In december 1943 German tanks attack on the right flank of 43rd Red army defense line ( Holudnoye village of the Surazhsky region, Vitebsk area ). The broneboyshchik soldier of Uglovsky of the 306th shooting division with two anti-tank grenades undermined "Tiger" tank caterpillars. The tank stopped - german tankmen left "Tiger" in the fight field. It is the unique tank "Tiger" broken in fight by grenades during World War 2. The soldier Uglovsky Anatoly was killed in battle and with military honors was buried in Vymno village. Posthumously the medal of the Hero of the Soviet Union was appropriated to it. Broken enemy tank was repaired, taken Soviet army and was at war till summer of tank tower there was an inscription "ZA UGLOVSKOGO" ( in Red Army service).
