Fossilised spiny lobster. Fossilised spiny lobster (Eryon sp.) embedded in limestone. This fossil was found in lower lias limestone rock which was laid down in the early Jurassic period (195-172 million years ago). This specimen, which is part of the Martin Rigby collection, was found in Dorset, England.
