Wall clock (created in 1370) on the Tour de l'Horloge of the Conciergerie, Paris - The left figure holding the decalogue (Ten Commandments) and scepter signifies divine justice and the right figure with the scales and sword personifies human justice. The shield above the pediment carries the Bourbon fleur-de-lys and the castles of Castille, the arms of King (and Saint) Louis IX (1214-70), patron of French justice.
