The Maxket. The market is well supplied with stock, but the larger part of it is small and meets with a poor demaud. All fancy stock cleans up readily at good prices, while the remainder of the offer- ings sell at prices that are weak, if it moves at all. Shipping business is fair. Offerings in fancy roses an- rather limited in quantity. Many sliort ones of good quality may be had. There are no Easter lilies in the market at this time, while rubrum offerings are some- what limited. The rubrums are selling readily. Asters are plentiful, but the majority of them are small and meet with a poor demand. The good ones and the fancy ones are snapped up at sight. Gladioli are plentiful. Only the best are selling at all well. Other offerings are snapdragon and water lilies. Greens are finding a market that is fairly good. Various Notes. The marriage of Miss Jennie L. Adrian to Oliver D. Perreault was solemnized August 2. They will make their future home in Los Angeles and will leave for that city as soon aa Mr. and Mrs. Gus. Adrian, the bride's par- ents, have returned from Les Cheneaux, Mich. The bridegroom has just returned from France. C. E. Critchell went to Richmond, Ind., last week and while there visited the greenhouses of Joseph Hill and other florists. Mr. Critchell reports that everytliing there appears to be in first-class shape and promises heavy cuts for the coming season, Julius Baer has just returned from a trip of several months' duration. He took in the Canadian northwest, the Pacific coast and other points of in- terest. Gustave Schneider, of Springf
