Austrians dressed in national and regional costume for Harvest Festival in Salzburg in Austria
This charming town was the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the setting for the film of the Von Trapp Family- the Sound of Music. The Hohensalzburg fortress is the most complete fortress from the medieval times that is left in Europe. The streets are narrow and quaint and the locals love to wear the national dress of Austria. The Residenzplatz faces the Palace of the Prince Bishops who ruled the city which is now a museum and art gallery
