It is now ownedby two daughters of Ned Cushing, Mrs. Lincoln and Mrs. the house was built, there was no road going by it,Turkey Hill Lane being the only path from the Plain toCohasset. Some of the large timbers in the barn, showing themortises then used, came from the original Old Church. Thepresent Old Church was built two years later. The Gorham Lincoln House. — Not far away from thishomestead Stephen, the son of Peter, built another in GENERAL LINCOLN HOUSE.
