The Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso is a baroque palace complex that was a summer royal residence of Philip V in 18th century and a governmental center. All the fountains are themes from classical mythology, including Greek deities, allegories and scenes from myths. The gardens, with the fountains, statues and waterfalls were laid out in an imitation of the ones at Versailles.
