Vice Adm. Brown, Commander, NAVIFOR and Force Master Chief Twiford pose with a model of USS Maury (AGS-39) on loan from the Navy’s Curator of Models. This 1:96 scale model was built for the Navy by Greg McKay. USS Maury was an oceanographic survey ship that operated between 1989 and 1994. USS Maury, located on NAVIFOR's Flag Deck, took the place of USS Kidd (DD-661), which was returned to Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division.
