Rehabilitation railroad Moerdijk [Watersnood 1953] On the railroad between Dordrecht over the Moerdijkbrug to Brabant is feverishly worked. Sand and bilsen are supplied with trains and on the spot near the Moerdijk bridge the sand is immediately poured, so that the rails, which now has no support but simply hangs, feel some ground again. The entire railway dike has fallen down about meters over a long distance. First requirement is to increase this part of the railway.
