The inscription is elima ken eta, denotive of the value: the colour, a richazure, and the paper unwaterrnarked andperforated. Honduras.—It is stated in Le Timbre-postefor last month that the real value of the roseand green stamps of this country is 12i cen-tavos, or one real; and in support of thisstatement the decree authorising their emis-sion and fixing the postal rates is given. Itis remarkable, in that case, that both thesestamps should bear the inscription DOSeeales and the figure 2 in each corner, andno explanation is given on this point by ourcontemporary. The decree certainly directsthat stamps of only one value, 12| centavos, shall be sold, and at the same time it estab-lishes the following rates. For a single rate letter (j oz.) 1 real.„ double ,, (f oz.) 2 „ „ triple „ (f oz.) 3 „ „ quadruple „ (1 oz.) 4 ,, It is therefore probable, if this tariff is ad-hered to, that an issue of other values will. take place. The stamps already in circula-tion commenced duty on the first of Januaryof the present year. M. Moens suggeststhat one colour may be intended for ordinary, and the other for registered letters; but ifthis be so, how is it they are of the samevalue ? Itis printed in blackon pale blue paper, with scolloped edges, and is employed bythe Bremen postaladministration for the franking of officialcorrespondence. Rioi-Kaltbad.—Desiring to test the cor-rectness of the information given by ourcorrespondent, A Stamp Collector, re-specting the use to which this stamp wasput, we wrote to the proprietor of the Rigi-Kaltbad Hotel on the subject, and receivedfrom him the following obliging reply :— Kigi-Kaltbad, 19th of June, 1866.(Cold Baths).Sir, In answer to your lettei of the loth instant,we do not fail to
