Rising tide on the Pilgrim's Way footpath to Lindisfarne

Footpath and marker poles on the partially submerged Pilgrim's Way walker's route over the Lindisfarne causeway. At low tide it is possible to walk across the sand from the mainland to the island but walkers should consult the published tide tables carefully before considering a crossing as the causeway is totally submerged at high tide.
