New Brighton Lighthouse. This lighthouse is located in the Mersey estuary, near Liverpool, England. It was built from 1827 to 1830, and is just over 27 metres tall. It was retired in 1973, no longer needed as a radar system was put in use instead. It is now privately owned and has been refurbished as holiday accommodation.
