Bird club members documenting migrating birds in New Haven CT USA

New Haven-- From left to right; Robin McAllister of Milford, Lynn James of East Haven and Ranger Dan Barvir keep a sharp eye out for Hawks and other birds of prey at Lighthouse Point Park. The members of the New Haven Bird Club count the number of migrating birds every year. They are close to 15,000 documented birds, a high number compared to past years. This morning was slow due to Southerly winds, but Ranger Barvir was hoping for Northerly winds near the end of the week, which would bring lots of birds.
