Mellon Udrigle on the West Coast of Scotland close to the town of Laide is a glorious red sand beach which leads to a turquoise sea backed by the mountains of coigach beyond where a storm is brewing. Through the middle of the beach a small tanin stained peat stream cuts a swathe and meanders its way to the sea creating distinctively colourful channels.
