Mr. Max Toltz has resigned as mechanical engineer of theGreat Northern Railway. He is engaged in superintendingthe application of his system of acetylene car lighting to alarge number of cars on the Canadian Pacific, and has beenretained by that road in a consulting engineering capacity inconnection with the new shops at Montreal.
