Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer on the buttock of a two month old baby boy. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a cancer of skeletal muscle cells, and is most common in children below the age of five. This baby has had a biopsy taken from the region so that the type of cells present can be analysed. The cancer can be treated by radiotherapy or chemotherapy, usually followed by surgical removal of any remaining cells, and the prognosis is good.
