A mute swan walks past a sign by the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens warning visitors not to feed the birds, as the worst recorded bird flu outbreak continues to spread in the UK. Thousands of wild birds have died as a result of the virus across the country, and millions of domestic birds have been killed by the virus and culled in an attempt to curb the spread. According to reports, the deadly virus has been traced to poultry farms, and has jumped to wild populations.
