Hawaii Gov. David Ige, along with Karen E. Armes, the acting regional administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region IX, and Maj. Gen. Arthur Logan, the adjutant general for the Hawaii National Guard, sign the 2015 Hawaii Catastrophic Hurricane Plan Aug. 7 at the Hawaii State Capitol. The plan is an updated version of the 2009 Cat Plan. While the old plan only covered the island of Oahu, the new version will cover every island in the state.
