DUVEAU, Louis Jean NoisL, a French painter,who was bom at St. Malo in 1818, studied historyand genre painting under L6on Cogniet in Paris,and afterwards visited Italy. He was successfulin representing scenes of fisher-life in his nativecountry. He died in Paris in 1867. In the LilleMuseum is his Perseus and Andromeda, paintedin DUVENEDE, Marcus van, a Flemish painter,was born at Bruges about 1674.
