Prehistoric Monolith in Churchyard of Rudston. East Yorkshire, Humberside, 20th century. Rudston Monolith at over metres (25 ft) is the tallest megalith (standing stone) in the United Kingdom. It is situated in the churchyard in the village of Rudston and dates from the Neolithic Bronze Age c2400-1400 BC.
