Decoration for the marriage of Prince Paluzzo Altieri, Giuseppe Barberi, Italian, 1746–1809, Pen and brown ink, brush and brown wash on off-white laid paper, lined, On top a variation of -1846, bottom left. Bearded hermae with capitals are the supports. The portrait of the Pope is to hang at the entablature. A torch is the support of the lower frames. Bottom partly drawn over the supports of the upper design: a variation of the scheme of 1901-39-1447. The top of the upper frame is flanked by tassels, hanging from the keys. The lower portraits are oblongs which are not separated.
