THE ARGO, i g i o 111 The Oratorical Department Westminsters Oratorical Department is one of which she may well be this department with little to work with and less encouragement from pastrecords, Miss Randall, its present head, has built it up until it is now one of thestrongest ot the College. Each year the number of students has increased until ithas been necessary to secure an assistant instructor. Indeed, there are severalstudents specializing in the work ot this department alone. The cause of this most successful and rapid growth has been for the greater partdue to the conscientious and faithful devotion to the work by the head of the depart-ment. Her aim has been the aim that should guide every instructor in this line—to help the student to look within himself and, when he has discovered and realizedhis own powers and capabilities, to express his thought freely and sincerely.
