One of our greatest problems in con-nection with the motor transportationneeds of the army is to obtain compe-tent motor truck drivers. To securethese from among the ranks of the pas-senger car owners and chauffers and totrain novices seems the most advisablemethod. Columbia, Yale and Princetonhave already begun to cooperate withthe club. Fourteen hundred volunteersare needed immediately. They will becalled into active service as soon as thecompanies are trained and equipt.
