Both of these hotels faceeastward, both are lighted with gas, and both aresupplied with all modem conveniences and lux-uries. There are. also, other good hotels in thecity, which are considered second-class, and arelargely patronized. OFFICES AXD FAMILY RESIPENLE cars, running by nearly all the hotels, will takeyou there. Warm Springs.—These are, to invalids,the most grateful and delightful places of resortin the city. Exceedingly valuable either forrheumatic or dyspeptic complaints, they are ex-cellent in general invigorating properties, andspecially efficacious in skin diseases. They arebut about one mile from the hotel, reached eitherby horse-cars or carriage. Even a pleasant walkis preferable. Best times to enjoy them are earlyin the morning before breakfast, or immediatelybefore dinner. Should never be taken withinthree hours after a meal. The springs issuefrom the limestone rock near the foot of themountains, and the curious character of the rockis seen in the stones used for either fences or thefoundation of the buildings.
