This detail is good. -24 Another riveted plate connection is shown in detail was designed for the Vera Cruz and Pacific Railwayin Mexico. There may have been some object in view for thisdesign but it seems to be a poor one. One objection is theposition of the pin. In place of lacing in this bridge plates2-1/2 by 7/I6 were riveted at intervals along the lower sideof the end post. This design is simple but the appearance isanything but pleasing.
