Khao Wong Prachan is the highest mountain in Lopburi province, Thailand and is home to a Buddhist monastery with a gigantic Golden Buddha statue overlooking the city of Lopburi. Located at about 650m above sea-level, the trek to the mountain summit requires a climb of 3,790 steps, where pilgrims pay homage to a footprint of the Buddha.
