Police have renewed there appeal and spoken to hundred of motorist this after one week on following a dispute between a cyclist and a couple. One of whom was in a. Wheelchair. Walking along Bury Road in Gosport. Roy Galvin, from Alverstoke, suffered a head injury following the incident in Bury Road on 25 September, he died in hospital on Wednesday. Mr Galvin was with his wife, who was in a wheelchair, when he was allegedly pushed to the ground by a cyclist. Officers will be stopping and speaking to passers-by at the scene throughout Sunday afternoon. A 28-year-old man from Gosport initially charged with causing grievous bodily harm is now facing a charge of manslaughter. He remains in custody and is due before Portsmouth Crown Court on 31 October. Police are particularly keen to trace a witnesses who they believe took photos on their mobile phone. Police are keen to trace anyone who may have been in the area or who stopped to help the man. The incident took place near the telegraph pole on Bury Road in Gosport at around on Sunday. Police have had some witnesses come forward but believed that drivers or passing members of the public may have information they are also appealing for any in car camera footage that may have captured the events. That can help them with there investigation.
