Carriage dating from 1757 spends most of year as one of largest and most precious objects in collection of Museum of London. For eleven and a half months of the year, the vehicle is one of the largest and most precious objects in the Museum of London's collection. In the lord mayor's show on 9 November, it will be drawn by six magnificent horses, carrying the new mayor from the Mansion House to the law courts on the Strand, the finale of a procession of 6,000 people, 20 bands, 150 floats and more than 200 horses.
