Hillsdale covered bridge is located at the Ernie Pyle Rest Area, on State Road 36, east of Dana, Vermillion County, Indiana. It was built in 1876 by Joseph J. Daniels, using Burr arch construction and has a span of 104 feet. Originally it crossed Little Raccoon Creek near the community of Possum Bottom, but was moved to it's current location in 1972/73. Originally it crossed Little Raccoon Creek near the community of Possum Bottom next to where state road 63 and US36 cross now. Moved in 1972/73 to the Ernie Pyle rest park on US36, East of Dana.
